Tips for this count

  • Photograph the face of the stack straight on, so each box shows one side.
  • Only what the camera sees is counted: boxes hidden behind the front row are not.
  • Outline one box with its edges. For two box sizes, outline one of each.
  • Printed or wrapped boxes that look different from each other count better with Smart AI.

What people use it for

Cycle counts and stock takes, checking a pallet or a delivery, and counting cases on a shelf, from a phone photo.

  • Photos picked from an iPhone or Android gallery (your phone sends them as JPG)

Not supported

For a good count

  • Take the photo straight on, with even light and no strong shadows.
  • The objects should look alike and not overlap much.
  • Any size works. Large photos are reduced to 2400 pixels on the long side, so very small objects in a huge photo are best cropped first.
